The Wisconsin Technology Education Association provides proactive leadership in advocating the advancement of technology education by providing professional development opportunities, promoting relevant curriculum, communicating information and networking educators with business and industry.
Membership benefits include:
- Discounted admission to the WTEA annual spring conference
- WTEA website including members only file downloads)
- Access to a statewide network of teachers for resources, ideas and support
- Awards and recognition of outstanding k-16 technology educators
- An active voice on issues that concern technology education
- Subscription to the Interface (3 issues per year)
- Association mailings, and communications
- ITEA CATTS curriculum materials and training
- Regional meetings and workshops
The WTEA works in cooperation with the International Technology Education Association, Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Governor?s Task Force on Technical Education, Wisconsin Technical College System Board. Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers, Wisconsin Education Association Council, Skills USA, Technology Education Collegiate Association and the Technology Student Association.
Annual membership is only $25 per school year, or three years for $65. You can purchase membership with your credit card by going to the WTEA On-line Store from the website homepage, or click on the following link to open a *pdf form that can be mailed in with a personal check or school purchase order.
