The WTEA is an association made up of educators and other interested stakeholders with a desire to improve technology & engineering education at all grade levels within the state of Wisconsin. A wide variety of individuals, agencies and organizations have representation in the Association, including public schools, private schools, correctional institutions, technical colleges, universities, business and industry representatives, classroom teachers, teacher supervisors, administrators, and college students preparing for the profession.
The WTEA works in cooperation with the International Technology Engineering Education Association, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Technical College System, Skills USA, and technology education collegiate student associations.

The WTEA membership year runs from Sept. 1st through Aug. 31st. All annual memberships will expire on Sept. 1st
Educators / Administrators: $35 membership fee for teachers and other education professionals
Stakeholder members: $35 membership fee for industry professionals and other non-educators who support Wisconsin Technology and Engineering education.
Retired Educators: We have a special membership opportunity for professionals who have retired from education but still want to stay connected to the association and attend the conference. You pay a reduced membership fee and receive complimentary admission to the annual conference.
Student members: $10 membership fee and special rate for attending the annual conference. This offer is limited to college students preparing for a #1220 (Technology Education) teaching license.
School District (group) membership: Purchase an Interface School Subscription and save money; sign up all (3 or more) Technology Teachers in your district at one time. Everyone gets a copy of the Interface and full membership privileges.
